The segmented design on this great looking pen is created by using four different wood types. The bright yellow wood is Osage Orange, The pink wood is Pink Ivory, the purple wood ia Purple Heart, and the dark brown wood is Black Walnut. The wood is cut and rotated in a stair step fashion before being shaped on the wood lathe.
